PRP Course Description
What is PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that harnesses and amplifies the natural growth factors found in our blood cells to help heal damaged tissue, .

This one-day workshop has been designed to help students who have experience as a practicing EMT, RN, LPN, MA, Phlebotomy, or Aesthetics gain didactic and "hands-on" experience with the theory and skills needed for Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments. Content includes criteria for vein selection, vein location and identification, selection of supplies and equipment, and potential PRP treatments with the usage of the nano-needle.

Where can PRP Technicians work?
This PRP Technician program is designed to prepare persons to
function as phlebotomists in a medical office, sports medicine, med spa, beauty salon, and/or add PRP Treatment to their existing mobile phlebotomy service.

Requirements: Students must have a High School Diploma/GED and Phlebotomy experience.
​
For any student who has no phlebotomy experience, our phlebotomy course will be a pre-requisite to attend this 4-hour workshop.
